Latest Windows Phone 7 Build Emulator Rom Leaked
The Microsoft Phone Developers Team released the Windows Phone Developer Tools CTP April Refresh this past week. And along with that came the latest build of Windows Phone 7. Windows Phone 7 build 6176 brings Microsoft Office pre-installed inside and new app installer option. It didn’t take long for the Devs at XDA to work their magic and dismantle the latest build. The end result was a working unlocked image. Along with the new mobile Microsoft Office app, the ROM includes a working dialer and in-call user interfaces, call history, call notifications, basically a pretty complete call screen.
The user interface is defiantly updated and runs smooth, you can tell that there is still a lot that is missing, and Windows Phone 7 as a whole, is far from complete. But a basic minimal experience is just good enough if you want to start to get a feel for the future of Windows mobile computing. If you’re interested in trying out the April refresh, the installation process is almost the same as the original February build, except to have to use the new emulator bin and the new Dev tools CTP – April Refresh.
